Centacare to deliver Alternative Education Program in 2020
Centacare Employment and Training are pleased to announce we have been successful with our tenders for the Alternative Education Program (AEP). This will be a wonderful addition to our growing scope of programs dealing with youth-at-risk in the Perth region. The program, named Avenues, will commence on 4 February 2020.
Avenues is funded by the Department of Education and will be administered from 3 sites across Perth, including Centacare’s existing Armadale and Hilton sites as well as a new location in Mirrabooka.
The program aims to offer new pathways to reconnect young people with education in a safe learning environment. Avenues helps eligible students in years 10, 11, and 12 to improve their life, literacy and numeracy skills and prepares them for pathways to employment, training or further study.
For more information on the program, see our Avenues Program Page or contact us directly.
